Well, if you bought from a dealer, you should have used it for a trade in. Now you have to sell it though the paper (although some of big used car operations (like CarMax) have advertised they will buy cars even if you don't buy from them.
There is the person in New Jersey who wants a car for $500.
Or give it to someone.

Depending on the condition of the car you can either place an ad in the local paper or auto magazine. Or, if you are very charitable, contact Volunteers of America and they will accept it as a donation. Sometimes local half-way houses will also take it as a donation. Good tax deduction.

If you don't need it or want it then you can put an ad in the paper and sell it. Maybe a young family member may need it. Donate it and take the value off your taxes.

charities advertise for them all the time, they give you a receipt and if you itemize, you can deduct the value.
