I bought some paint from Wal-Mart.
I totally loved it.. thought it was awsome and how it will be so nice to paint with a different colour because most of my house is the same colour.
So I bought my paint and painted the room..

and AKKKKKKKKKKKKK

It's the same colour as the rest of my house. It totally didn't look like it at the store!!

HA HA HA.. I must really love this colour.

Damn subconscious. =P

How did this happen?

There are several reason why a paint sample can look different then the actual wall you paint at your house here are some factors:

1) Lighting. The lighting in your home is vital as far as having an effect on color. If light is reflecting on a wall it will look totally different than if there is not much light in the room.
2) Sheen. There are several different sheens from flat, eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss etc. This will make a color look more or less shinny.
3)Pigment Base. The base color WalMart uses to make colors may be different than what appears on a sample. Thats why you should make Walmart or whoever actually have you see the real paint once it drys.

Hope u have better luck next time.

LOL..That's funny:) Yep, you must like that color!! Lighting will make a BIG difference in the way it looks in your home vs the store or outside though, so don't feel too bad;)

Hey then leave it and add a poly on top get a stencil and you will have the same but with a semi wallpaper look try that ? (since its the color you really do like) and it will break it up.

You liked to color so much that your mind tricked you into seeing it differently at Wal-Mart
