baking soda and salt. if you want a paste add water and gelatin. Me and my dog use this and my teeth and breath are great

A great one already exists !It's called baking soda it will do more than clean it will remove coffee and tobacco stain. There is very little abrasiveness. You have noticed a little grittiness with commercial pastes that's because they use limestone in it to grind off the residue on your teeth. Another plus; it counters the acid in your mouth that sometimes you notice as heat

Dip the tooth brush into baking soda. Brush with that, it's all natural and gets rid of bad breath.
