No one should know, no one should be so stupid? Isn't not knowing what's stupid?

1) effect and affect are grammar mistakes, not spelling.
2) I was asking this as a research q. not because I am smoking marijuana.
3) I feel sorry for everyone who made a mean comment instead of answering the question. I hope it made you all feel better about yourself.

It depends on how heavily person uses marijuana. If a person smokes everyday, they'll short term memory is really affected. Their lungs are in way worse condition than non users lungs. Long term affect also leads to unmotivation. People get unmotivated to do important things or things that they don't really want to do. They'll try to make excuses to make themselves feel good about it. Not everyone is like that but lot of people are. Long term use leads to short term memory loss which is basically forgetting easy/everyday things. Short term effects are not as bad as long term. Short term effects don't last long at all. Probably only day or two or until you're still high. Check out this website called www.erowid.org. It has in depth information about almost every drug/narcotics known including effects, pictures, real life stories and so on.

Long term effect of smoking marijuana can make you have severe depression, loss of memory, and lung damage. It has narcotic-effect chemical in the marijuana, so if you smoke it, you can get serious problems with your brain. You will forget some items or forget some DMV rules because of you smoking the marijuana.

Don't know if it is long term or short term but it seems to affect your spelling.

They say your memory will be affected. Personally, I have no experience. Short term would be temporary silliness and loss of judgement as well as pain control.
