Yes. It's most definitely possible.

On the upside, it sounds like it's not that far advanced yet. Have you missed any periods, for example?

As an ex-anorexic/bulemic, I seriously, seriously beg you to talk to someone about this before it gets out of hand. I'd say your parents, but sadly we all know some parents just don't get some things. If yours are the kind that might, please, tell them your suspicions. But mainly, see a doctor. You need to nip this in the bud before you lose control over it. For now it sounds like you're aware something's not right with this type of thinking. When you lose that, and start thinking you're right, is when you start doing anything to hide it from others just so you can keep losing weight. Please please see a doctor while you still can, it's life threatening and very serious if gone unchecked. Too many people have ruined or lost their lives over this. Don't you dare become one of them.

Cutting back calories = anorexia??? UMMMMMM I think not. If you're still eating you're okay, just don't let it get the best of you.

You SHOULD get help, but I can understand why you feel the way you do: I'm a model. And I'm too fat for the photoshoots and runway. So what do I do?

I eat, I just try to eat right...look up: negative calorie food list, apple cider vinegar. I think that might help you out...

Talk to some kind of counselor about what you can do to maintain your weight without being consumed by it. You obviously don't feel like telling your parents, look to a friend's parent (or a friend of your parents) that you trust and can confide in. Or you can email me...I have a billion problems and solutions I can share lol.

:-D

If what you want is someone here to say that you're fine, forget about it. You need help and you know it. Is not that hard, better now that you're not ill yet. All you gotta do is talk to a teacher, a friend, brother or sister if you don't wanna tell your parents directly. Or one day you could just wake up in a hospital bed, plugged into the IV that's gonna feed you for the next month, skin and bones, totally sad to look at, with no friends and everyone feeling sorry for you and angry at the same time. I bet your sick need to look skinny is worth all this.

Your not OK. Its comforting that you are seeking help, but way outside. Remember that health repercussions can follow you your whole life. You need to coordinate this with someone intimate, like parent or spouse. Start counting calories to make sure you get enough and take a daily multivitamin starting right now.

Sounds like you're treading down a dangerous path. You already know that you're not eating properly and it appears to be scaring you.
Do you have an adult friend you can confide in? You should consult a doctor and get a referral for counselling before this spirals out of control.

Good luck.

Sorry, but it sounds like you are taking steps down a very unhealthy pathway. If you don't want to talk to your parents, talk to your friends or a guidance counselor. By the sounds of it, things are going to get a lot worse if you don't have people around to help pull you out of it.
Definitely don't let this keep on going, though. I know a lot of people who have been where you are, and I've been there myself and you can't stop on your own.

Yes it sounds like you are anorexic. You have to tell your parents. They can help you get therapy for you body consciousness. Try to eat! no food can cause horrible things to happen to you such as delusions. You can cause the acid in your stomach to grow in amount which can burn holes in your stomach. It can also stop your period (menstrual cycle) from coming. Your body needs food! you don't want end up like Keira Knightly or Nichole Ritchie (gross).

Eat small meals, and have about 5 a day, like Kittens do.
You probably have a fear of food.
Try looking at yourself in the mirror and thinking "Is this what I want to llook like?"

If you don't tell your parents that you're anorexic now, they won't have to deal with it now. But they will have to deal with it later, and it will be much, much worse.
