Hi honey,
I get like that right before a date as well. Everytime!! If your taking meds dont drink tonight. It makes your personality a little altered in the negative sense. Make sure you do go out tonight, sounds like a fun time. The best thing to do tonight is ignore your anxiety thoughts right as soon as they kreep up. IGNORE THEM!! The more you ingnore them tonight the more you will have fun. And remember, evryone you will be around tonight is just as insecure as you, especialy the ones that try to wear all the right clothes and say the right things. God Bless you sweety!!

Be yourself, it's ok to be shy. My best friend is shy and I never would have been interested in her if she was not comfortable with herself. Pay attention to your surroundings so you can keep yourself safe. If you have a family member or friend you can call & check in on from time to time just to say hi and let them know how your doing. Stay focused on yourself. If you start to feel anxious remember your best times with friends and family. Or think about your future and what you want to do when you grow up ... and breathe! You can do this! Be gentle with yourself.
