Yeah, you kinda have this question in the wrong section. But you just kinda have to look it up. That movie was all together true. It was actually based on two true stories that they weaved together. One was about a guy that had killed a bunch of people with a chainsaw in like Arkansas or something. The other was about a guy in Texas that would kill people and wear their skin. He was actually in a prison down the road from my house. Kinda creepy...

you can find alot of information on wikipedia,
wikipedia isn't always accurate since it is user information
but for the most part it is.
as far as i know leatherface was loosely based off Ed Gein..
