My Grandfather recently died... and he had served in the SS in WWII. I'm the only member in my family that has acknowledged this, and so... he left me all his stuff, a couple boxes full of what I suppose would be Nazi memorabilia, now. Like, two uniforms, a K98, Nazi silverware... that sort of thing. I'm mildly uncomfortable with owning all of this, and I'm wondering if sending it to a museum, like the Smithsonian, would be a good idea, since most of the items are in very good shape...

I don't believe the Smithsonian accepts donations like this, but you could contact someone in the collector's market, and get rid of your stuff that way. Or sell it on ebay.
