He is in the jazz band with me and hes really cute and really nice. I like him a lot. Everyone says i should go for it but idk i dont want to make a fool out of myself. These are some things that have happened that make me think he likes me. ONe he was doing a solo and he was looking at me the whole time, but i guess he wasnt thinking and he messed up so he looked a way. Then a lot lately he has been looking at me. Everytime i look up well most of the time he is looking at me. SO my question is Does he like me and should I talk to him about it?? Im afraid that since im going to be working with him closely in band that it will be awkward if i tell him i like him. What should i do. I am in 9th grade and he is in 11th. But im really mature for my age

OMG! Seriously, you sound like my twin. Jazz band, age... geez, we even seem to have the same problem. This is kind of scary, actually.
I'd say that he likes you if he keeps looking your way, and he messed up while looking at you. That's usually a really good sign. Ask him to go with you to the movies, just as friends if you want, and see what happens. And just keep hanging out with him, that way, if you're nervous to ask him, than you don't have to really ask him if he likes you... just ask him to hang out with you.
Oh, and if you want a movie suggestion, I recommend Music and Lyrics. It has Drew Barrymore and Hugh Grant and it's pretty funny... not to mention it encompasses your interests in music. Good luck!

TELL YOU WHAT I DID . BAKE some cookies.PUT them in a nice plastic baggie. take them to him and tell him you have some extras.HOPE HE LIKEs THEM. It will be a great door opener 4 you. THEN SAY HELLO all the time to him.

just cause he looks at you doesn't mean he likes you! But, try TALKING TO THE BOY! .... just small talk..hey how are ya....... band was broing today or something ..anything!

well remember if there's nothing risk there's nothing gained and if he's looking at you all the time like you say i'd say from a man's point of view he probally does like you so go far it.
