I have heard conflicting stories about dating and asking God to reveal his will for a spouse. How do we know his will as apposed to our carnal desisres?

That is not my case, but too often people pray and expect God to miraculously show them who their spouse should be. God wants them to invest their hearts and brains in finding a suitable life mate. If they work on that, while remaining in a loving, submissive relationship to God, then I believe God will guide them through their own desires, and through circumstances. As long as they put God first in their lives.

Don't worry about his will and follow your own heart. That's how the spirits tell us.
