I am 25 yrs old, weigh 115 lbs. and am 5'6" and I feel good about myself. I eat allllll the time, but have a high metabolism. Now there is sickly looking thin, but you don't sound they way. I think it's just people that want you to gain weight to be like them. It should be the way YOU feel about yourself....nobody else!

You may be a little under weight. If you're otherwise healthy, probably not something to worry about, though. You still have time to pick up your freshman fifteen, and then old-person metabolism kicks in around 25.

i think that as long as you don't look sickly or bony you don't need to try to gain wait i think that as long as you eat at least three times a day and eat good amounts you don't need to worry about what someone else says is too low of a weight I'm 5'1" and I'm about 100 and i could weigh less and be as skinny as you and i still think I'd be at a healthy weight

No, because as you get older, you should gradually gain weight. After you have children, you will defininitely gain weight. I was very thin when I was young, but now that I'm older, I have a harder time losing weight.

Unfortunately, some people do try to tell you to gain weight so they'll feel better about themselves. But your friends probably have good intentions. I wouldn't try to put on fat, but maybe do some strength training if you don't have muscle already? As long as you feel good and healthy, I wouldn't worry about it.

Your "friends" shouldnt tell you to gain weight for any other reason than to look out for you. If you're sure their your friends, at least consider it.
