any card that has 0% APR for about a year or longer. when the time comes you will have to transfer your balance (if you have one) to another card. so look for free balance transfer when you do this. don't miss your payments though or you might not get the introductory rate of 0% APR so you can make minimum payments every month. there are some like citi diamond preferred which gives you points to actually get free stuff or some give you mileage for flights. some places dont accept discover or american express but master/visa are accepted almost everywhere. it all depends what you are looking for. but keep your credit in good standing b/c it will affect your credit for the years ahead. build your credit by making purchases and paying them off right away.
another thing, watch out for the "payment protector" things... unless you find that you really need it. in most cases they hassle you like crazy to sign up and if you do its free for a month (in most cases) and then its up to you to cancel it or you will be charged.
credit cards are good to have for emergencies and to build credit but like the most of us we get stuck with a lot of credit card debt. so just be responsible. good luck!

Any Master or Visa card is good as long as the interest rate isn't any higher than like say 9% get a fixed rate, but first try for 0% if you can get one. That depends on your credit score.

First look to see if you can get one for 0% for the first year if you can. Get a fixed rate credit card, do not get a variable rate interest as it will go up and end up costing you a lot of extra money in interest payments. Stay away from those at all costs.

Really if you can, staying away from credit cards is the best thing that you can do, people tend to just start putting everything on their card. People who have never had credit card some times go crazy and they end up in terrible debt because of them.

However if you want to build your credit history, put only what you know that you can afford on it. So that if you wanted to at any given time you could pay it off if you need to. Don't go in too deep with the amount that you put on it as it can lead to disaster.

People make the mistake of having too many credit cards and when it comes to wanting to buy a house, they have to much debt and it keeps them from buying a house. If at any time you decided to close out a credit card account; make sure that the people who you have the card through put down in writing that you the customer asked to close the account. Then check your TRW's to make sure that was done. The reason is other wise it will look like they thought you were a bad risk and it can lower your credit rating. But with the words, customer requested account be closed, your credit rating will not be hurt.

The best credit card is NOT to have a credit card.

you will only get problems with credit cards in your life.

why paying 15 % and more for interest?

pay cash and save!

Assuming you'll pay off your balance every month (which is the only good way to use credit cards), then you'll want to get the card that will pay you the most rewards (cash back, etc.) for the categories in which you normally spend (e.g. gas, groceries, restaurants, etc.).

An easy way to find the card that will pay you the most for your normal spending profile is to use the rewards calculator at http://www.creditcardtuneup.com/ .

That depends on alot of things. The interest rate depends on your credit rating.

VISA is much well-known than the MASTERCARD. but basically, they're both great and can be used worldwide. Just find a bank who offers lesser interest monthly.

i hope this helps.
