I hit the MUTE button every time the 3-minute commercial slot begins. Am I a non-capitalist? Should I feel guilty? If everyone did what I do, would the monthly rates go way up? Can a person go crazy by repeatedly hearing what is already memorized?

I don't understand why on earth you would PAY someone to blast you with advertising when you can listen to that crap for free.
I almost NEVER listen to any advertising, except those funny cavemen (on TV) or that cute AFLAC duck. If it makes me laugh, I'll watch/listen.

I sent a letter to XM complaining of the commercials. They replied to me that they added identical channels with out the commercials. They claim they have to play the commercials in agreement to some contract they have...I forget who with...I told them I bought XM radio for the plain and simple reason that there was no commercials. I also bought it for Nascar but that is gone now..... I am very close to changing to Sirius radio....
