i start running and then it gets really hard too breath. even if i run a short distance.

Talk to your doctor about trying to balance medications to get it under control and make sure he thinks that this would be a good idea, you don't want to put yourself at risk. Otherwise you might try a field event like shotput or discus.

Are you on medication like Advair? It helps a lot! You can't start out running fast or far. You have to work up to it. Good Luck!

get a little pouch that you can attach to ur pants and keep you're inhaler in it...also do some breathing exersisies that might help..just google breathing exerises for asthma
