Why don't you eat something healthy when you feel the need to eat? That way, you are fulfilling your body's desire to eat, and at the same time getting nutrients that will help your body become healthier. Also, get motivated to work out if you feel you need to lose weight. My sister is diabetic, so she has a lot of diet restrictions, so I know of a lot of foods that can help curb your appetite. Some free foods are Sugar Free Jello, Unbuttered Popcorn (i.e. SmartPop), Sugar Free Popsicle, Tic Tacs (they help you get the sugar craving you want), Crystal Light, etc... If you put your mind to it, you can do anything you want!

First, please consider some counseling regarding why you feell like you need to eat this way. There is a base problem. Is it emotional eating? Did you ever starve before? Also, please go to your dr. and get a referral to a nutritionist for a healthy eating plan. I personally reccommend the diabetic exchange diet. It's just normal eating, based on caloric intake. Some measuring to start with, and once you can "eye" the portion size, you won't need to measure. Have you considered that your options could be 1) Eat when other people eat their meals. 2) When you see someone heading to the kitchen between meals, you go out for a walk, or find something else to do. What kind of physical activity do you like to do? Swimming? Bowling? Dancing? Walking? Riding a bike? For walking, is there an area that is off busy roads to walk? Or a sidewalk? Swimming-that is fun, relaxing, and there are even classes you can possibly sign up for-areobics in the water-possibly. Just swimming, floating, dog paddling, is a fun easy way to exercise. Bowling-is fun. Dancing-you can go out to dance, or, if you prefer, stay in the privacy of your home, and put on some music to dance to. Also, are you drinking 8 - 8oz. galsses of water per day? Or, 4 - 16 oz. bottles of water per day? Staying hydrated will help a lot, even give you the energy to do things. Sometimes we think we are hungry, when we are actually thirsty. That is where drinking the water helps as well.I wish you the best. Take care.

Exercise...it releases endorphins in your brain that act as an appetite suppressant. Also, try Slim Fast shakes or bars to curb hunger.
Eat more bananas and apples and oranges. Eat lean beef, wheat bread, and whole grain cereals with skim milk.
Get your butt out of the house and into a gym or walking around the block or in your local park. Get moving Randy.

Learn to love celery. Snack on plain celery anytime you want, and you won't take in any calories.
