Genesis 11:4 And they said, Go to, Let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the earth. K.J.V. -----

The Internet is one language. It is capable of governing every thought and every action of man. Perhaps, in speculation, heaven is an all konwing state of being. Where we all are somehow capable of knowing every thought of another human being. Like in a sence of telepathy. If you believe in such things. The internet is possibly headed that way. Could we somehow, by creating the internet, be playing God in the way that society is judging itself. while Living with technology on the all knowing and seeing internet.
Just a thought.

No because the bible teaches that Adam spoke the language of Man.
That didn't change until Jehovah confused the languages at the Tower of Babel.
Babel was a real place, somewhere in the moderday country of Iran or Turkey. I don't remember which country, but 1 of those 2.

The claim that the Tower of Babylon is some sort of Internet server is part of the same lunatic fringe that thinks that Atlantis exists, pyramids have some sort of magic power, and the Nazca lines in Peru are spaceship landing strips.

In other words, not very likely.

The tower of Babel story is a myth the ancient people used to explain the many languages.

Interesting. But wasn't the Babel destroyed because it was all in the name of humans praising themselves versus just one communication?
