Good question
Aside of all the exercises and advice you have form others answering, try this:
When you stand tuck your tummy in a little, and also do not lock your knee caps, instead keep your knees bend about half a inch, that will loosen tension in your lower back and help you stand straight without the strain.
As said by others; stronger abs, back exercises and some stretching for flexibility, specially on your ham strings will help a lot!

u can buy a posture corrector...but a nice tip is everyday stand straight after ur shower, dry ur back & put some adhesive tape. This is gonna help u to keep ur posture, cuz everytime u wanna hunch the tape is gonna tug ur back skin...

it is important to sit up straight and keep your back in it's natural allignment. like someone else pointed out there are exercises such as yoga/pilates that help posture. Books and dvds are available for both.

My kung fu instructor likes to tell us to imagine that there was a string attached to the top of our heads holding us up and that our whole body hangs from it. It sounds a bit hokey but its a good way to think to keep your head up, your back straight, but keeping your body relaxed. Sometimes if you think about it too much you end up getting all tense and making it worse. Just be aware of it but don't worry too much, you'll get there eventually.
