That was a very generalized statement. And what makes you any better then the Christians that generalize non-christians.

Jesus believed He was the ONLY way to the Father.

As for hating and judging everybody-WE don't. We the conservative Christians. 1st thing I hate personally is abortion. I believe it's murder. So I endeavor to save the life of the innocent.

I believe all will be judged by God-as to where they will end up. We are told we will judge angels, so some of us go overboard. Sorry. However if we do behold a splinter in someone else's' eye and don't see the huge beam in our own then we are judged accordingly.

Fundamentalists tend to be like that no matter what religious or political ideology drives them. It's a basic personality disorder--there's fundie Christians, fundie Moslems, fundie Marxists, fundie health nuts--well, you get the picture.

Massive generalizations there, my friend. I have several "right-wing, fundamentalist, conservative" friends who are very non-judgmental and loving people. They don't hate others and would do anything for anybody, irregardless of that person's religious beliefs.

It only takes one black swan to prove that all swans aren't white. And in this case, it only takes two conservative Christians to prove that not all of them are hate mongers.

Apparently many of them firmly believe exactly that. They think it says so in the bible. Funny no other sect of any religion interpreted it quite that way though...

We do not "hate" everybody or anybody (I don't ) and whether you like it or not the only way to Heaven is through the blood of Christ. That's it! It is not about what we think vs what you think it is about the way it truly is. We didn't make the rules, we just try to follow them as laid out by GOD.

I'm an atheist, but if I'm wrong, and there really is a hell, I'd be willing to bet everything I own that there are significantly more of the people you're talking about there right now, than there are atheists.
