Working on an airline seems like it could be a very good job, and the stewards that I saw were every bit as helpful as the stewardesses. I am considering a career change and a shot at "swimming in the honey pot" wouldn't bother me a bit, but every male counterpart there that I have seen in my extensive travels, has been gay. They were very nice, hell, they all are! However, I don't want to be caught up in the middle of a "sausage fest" right in the middle of a "taco party". Even if no hanky-panky is to take place and my move there only gets me a paycheck (which is fine with me) I don't want to be the only straight guy there with ten hundred million johnsons ****** & locked, pointing at me, standing sideby side, from the shortest to the longest. If a stick was ran down that row, it would sound like a meat xylaphone.

OK,
I see my world as I see it, nothing funny about it. There is a bazillion different viewpoints on any one thing, this is mine.
I have never seen a straight steward, that is why I am asking. Any examples out there?
Yes, I am homophobic and no, that is not this issue.
Let's address the issue, please.
Straight stewards?
I can tolerate other types of folks, but I do not want to be the 1st straight steward in history, so I cannot "just do it" simply because I am interested. It is far more intricate than that.

Yes they do have straight stewards. My husband is a pilot and we are friends with quite a few stewards and their wives. For the ones that have kids, our kids play together, and some of them attend the same school as our kids.

I think that because there are a few gay stewards in the business, everyone assumes they all are, which is not the case.

I'd say about 95-98% are straight and only 2-5% are gay. I can't give exact figures because I know some try to hide their sexual orientation.

But in short answer to your question, yes, there are straight stewards in the airline business.

Yes, there are straight men that are Flight Attendants (the PC term for steward/stewardess), however, most male FAs are gay.

If you feel uncomfortable being around homosexual people you should consider a different carreer path. Besides, what makes you think that all the gay guys would be attracted to you anyway?

Whoa! Funny how you see your world!
If being a steward is what you really want, do it.
