BAGHDAD, Iraq - A truck exploded Saturday as worshippers left a Sunni mosque west of Baghdad, killing at least 35 people and injuring more than 60 in an apparent sign of increased internal Sunni battles between insurgents and those opposing them. The United States military stood by and observed the carnage.

To one of the previous answerers....there's absolutely no evidence that our screw-ups in Iraq are responsible for there being no major attacks since 9/11. That logic is completely flawed. We also haven't been attacked by aliens/UFO's....thank you President Bush.

the Republicans have told us they have started to rebuild and now enjoy a democratic government and everyone is happy and the lives lost were not in vain. So what you are seeing is not what you are seeing.
The battles really didn't happen and everyone is really happy and those dead soldiers are not really dead.
Why they are burring live soldiers is a mystery to me but hay what the heck the Republicans have said so it must be true.

We will never have complete peace in Iraq. I understand that is a rhetorical question, but before there is peace, we will be in an all out world war!! Then destroy ourselves.

total peace,actually the us military were expecting someone called democracy,but it seems shes running late,anyway they should try it in some african countrys too,ohhh wait i forgot theres no petrol round there.
