Jesus refers to dead people as "asleep". So that's what I think it will be like. A quiet, peaceful sleep. Have you ever been so tired you fall asleep when your head hits the pillow and don't wake up until the alarm sounds? You know nothing about what goes on around you in the time you are asleep. That's death.

But it doesn't end there. Jesus wake us all up. The righteous to eternal life and the unrighteous to destruction.

I believe the only thing we are sure of, is this earth gives us life. I am no Mother of the Earth religion guy, but that is all we know for sure. We should die, be put into a pine box and return to the earth. The preservation thing is stupid and narcissistic.

While I don't pretend to know what happens after death, I would presume we leave our mark on our children and their wisdom passed down.

first off death is something we all as humans have to accept because it is apart of life just as much as every month we have to pay bills.....

secondly people should be spending time on getting to know the real God out there so they will know what happens after they die....

but the problem is people would rather pretend that death doesnt exist and go out and party and go shopping and spend money and show off and so on.....

seek god for yourself - use your own faith, search for god yourself - you will find out that many people who call themselves religious are just that way to put on a show so they can get attention or use their religious ideas to try to change the world...they think their idea is going to make this world a better place or bring tons of converts into their church....

Death is an enemy and the last one to be destroyed. Death is a consequence of sin (the wages of sin is death). It is appointed unto man to die and after that the judgment. For the Christian it is but a passing shadow, for those outside of Christ it is dark horror that leads to torment.

Death is not real! Only to the ones that have accepted death.
If it is real then you die and that is it, you probably will not even know, you are gone, out, finished, caput, finito. Lucky you

I believe death is something not everyone has to experience. Look at Enoch and Elijah. They did not die. And there are probably more.

Wasn't this just asked, like, half an hour?

Death is death. Nothing more. Nothing less.
