HELP!!! I just bought Sony Vegas Movie Studio+DVD and It doesn't work with my video camera!! HELP!!?

I just bought this program and it says on the bottom of the box that it works with AVI files. My camera is AVI, and it's not working with the program. I bought this program from Best Buy, and they usually don't take things back, so I'm panicking. HELP!

ok first of all calm down. Look at your instructions nd there should be a help phone number to call. Call them, you might just need an adaptor or something. And if your camera is not compatiable jut sell it on EBay
