It was a good idea to topple Saddam , because he was a cruel inhumane person who killed millions of his own people , but at this point we should get out because you can't help people if they don't want to stand up and help themselves , its not worth losing anymore Brave American Soldiers lives.

Oh please, 9/11 was just an excuse to trick the people into going to war in Iraq. And the sad thing is, the American people fell for it very easily. Most anyways. How childish was the whole freedom fries, or the whole they are trying to take our way of life. All of it was B.S, and only an idiot dumber than a bag of hammers can still go on believing any of this. Bush lied about everything, Iraq connection to 9/11, the WMD. It was all about unfinished business with Saddam, and the petroleum.

I don't know what to say about the troops, I'd like to say get them out, but think it would be very unwise to just pull them out, if the Iraqis can't fend for themselves yet. Also, I think it would destabalize the whole region, and all the effort going on in places like Afghanistan and other places would be undermined seriously, and everything would collapse. Al Qaeda would operate freely and grow, and eventually, attack Western nations with great success and a high death count.

Plus, If I were the Iraqis and the American Military just pulled out (Not that all Iraqis want them their to begin with) after all the pain and suffering they have caused without actually fixing anything, I would side with Al Qaeda, and bring the war that the American Government brought to Iraq, back to the US, in their own backyard and see how they like it. Set bombs of in Malls, Schools, Churches, and where ever else you hear about in the news.

Saddam was bad, but never was there this much fighting and death going on while he was in power, and many Iraqis would rather long for the old days, then now. I admit, there are lots that actually look forward into the future, and hope that it will get better, but it's kind of hard to do that, when you know you could be killed just for going to the market to buy food or for praying.

At the same time, if it's a civil war, I think the International laws state that no other nation is to side or interfere with any of the groups fighting, unless it turns to genocide, but with that being said, is it all because of the US Military that this fighting is going on, or were they doomed to go at it sooner or later, and does the military have any obligations to stay and help.

Personally, I think they had enough problems, and would have eventually fought, if not now, later. Everybody says get out, but if the US Military did just that, you know the U.N would get involved real fast after the fighting gets even more worse and begins to spread. So I say, fix it as best as you can, and take it day by day. You can only plan for so much, till you have to change your plans by current events.

The war is wrong. First of all Iraq ( Iraqi people ) did not do 9-11. No WMD. No threat to the United States from Iraq. This so called war in Iraq will go down like Vietnam. We will fall down in shame. In other words we will lose.

From the start, Iraq war was good because Saddam Hussien was toppled for supporting terrorism. However, the continued stay in Iraq is futile because America cannot force the Iraqis to adopt democracy because it is against the Islamic beliefs of the people.

There have been mistakes made, every war has had that problem. Personally I think it would make good sense to pull out our troops just minuets before the Ohio class submarine fleet fires it's nuclear ordnance that would completely destroy Iraq and kill everyone in it

If we pull out of Iraq now it will end up like Somalia.

It's another Vietnam and I've been saying that since it started, way before others started saying it. Iraq had nothing to do with 9-11. We should get out before more of our people & more innocent Iraqi civilians are killed.

I have been ashamed of the entire debacle from the day the first bombs were dropped all the way up to today.

In a nutshell, it was the worst idea in American history second to dropping the atom bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
