Do you know what hCG stands for? HUMAN chorionic gonadotropin. That should let you know...and if you are breeding your dog, you should know how to spell the breed at least. It is shepherd. Bring your dog to the vet and ask for an emergency spay. It will be much easier for you and your female in the long run.

For the first three weeks of pregnancy, you may not notice any changes in the female. Some females will become more demanding for attention, their nipples may enlarge slightly, and some may become hungrier. These are not a guarantee of a pregnancy, but are good signs.
You should get an ultrasound done by your vet. Just to be sure.

Ok, I dont think this is as supid of a question as every one else seems to but it there is no way that it would work. Sorry that your getting abuse over this. I dont think there is such a thing as a home pregnancy tester for a dog yet... Good luck.

UH-NO!
Take your dog to the vet, or wait it out. If your dog was in heat and she got it on then it is highly plausible she is in fact pregnant. You can call the vet to check prices for labs or ultrasounds. If your dog is a small dog and the other dog was a big one then a abortion will need to be done to save your dogs life. Such as, your dog a poodle and the donor was a German Sheppard. Call the vet that is my advice.

COME ON!
PLEASE tell me that you're not serious?!?
It's people like you that give BYB's their reputation!
ADDED....You're right Kitty, not a stupid question....especially coming from someone who obviously has NO knowlede of the difference between canine and human hormones, no knowledge of what is involved when you breed, someone who has absolutely NO business breeding their dog and will probably be on here in a couple months asking how to tell when her dog is in labor, then why the mother eats the "gross stuff" around the puppy, then how to care for puppies, what to sell them for, etc. etc.
German Shepherds none the less.....you think both parents have even been tested for hip problems?
Sorry, but this type of question makes me want to pull all my hair out! Good lord people!

NO IT WOULDNT BUT.................THERE ARE HOME TESTING KITS FOR DOGS. THEY CAN BE USED AFTER 22 DAYS SUSPECTED GESTATION. HOWEVER...... YOU HAVE TO COLLECT BLOOD TO USE THE KIT. IT MEASURES THE HORMONE RELAXIN, AND IF YOU HAVE NO EXPERIENCE DOING THIS JUST TAKE YOUR DOG TO THE VET AND SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACE BECAUSE THIS CAN BE A VERY TRICKY THING TO DO.
