ask your hairdresser, he/she can give you prodcuts that will help do that. also, go to target, rite-aid, or any other store that has a big section with shampoos, conditioners, and other hair products. generally you can find products that will help boost your wave. good luck =)

to give your hair more body, blow it upside down

Oooooh I like this question because I have the same sort of hair and can get it to look really cute when I want it curly. Shampoo and condition your hair using some sort of volumizing shampoo.(I like Matrix) Towel dry slightly and pick or brush through the tangles. Tip your head upside down and using your fingers shake and frisk your hair to bring out the curls. Use a strong holding gel and depending on the length of your hair.. anywhere from a tsp to 2 tbsp of gel. Apply it with your head still upside down, and scrunching the ends up. Use styling "spritz" and spray a good coat over your hair.. paying special attention to the ends. Now blow dry your hair (still upside down) as you continue scrunching up the ends toward your scalp. *this is the most important part. This is whats going to make your curls the curliest and give it that body you want. If you don't want to be able to feel the gel/spray in your hair don't spray it anymore after you start drying it. To maximize curliness though - I prefer to spray it a few more times as I dry.

Good Luck!

Use a shine enhancing spray such as a brand called Bed Head. You can only find this in salons.

Or, after shampooing, rinse your hair with cold water instead of warm.

For volume, blow dry your hair upside down and brush your hair with your fingers.

Hope this helps! <3

Use Aussie volumizing shampoo and products for a more flowy style instead of a flat stiff look, then when your hair is damp towel dry your hair instead of it air drying for a tamer look put a LITTLE bit of gel and scrunch your hair until you have the volume and tecture you want!
