Hello, I am working out and trying to eat a lot of protein and stay away from sugar. What is a good breakfast with a lot of protein. I am sick of eating eggs! Everything else seems to be loaded with sugar or carbs. Any ideas?

Bacon is much better for you than sausage, but either one of those is going to have protein. Eggs are the best option, but if you're tired of them, I can understand.

There are indeed some vegetarian options, as one of the answerers above me pointed out. A lot of vegetables are high in protein, and a lot of veggie options contain soy... so if you're male, don't overdo it, but have a little.

Milk (if you're not lactose intolerant) can provide some protein as well. Skim milk is just about as good here as whole, and has no fat.

I've eaten non-breakfast foods for breakfast before, but I don't know how you feel about this. For me, it's no big deal to make a salad with romaine lettuce and drain a can of water-packed tuna, and have that with it. A can of tuna is something like 50g protein, very low in fat and no carbs.

Hmm..normally I would recommend eggs if you're looking for protein, but if not, then peanut butter and cheese work as great choices. You can also add in some protein if you like sausages or potatoes.

Some ideas would be: Try spreading peanut butter or melting jack cheese on toast, etc.
Also, If you have cereal, try adding some nuts in like almonds or pecans or peanuts--just a small handful though :]

Try some of the vegetarian options, there are low fat/low cal frozen options. Before a workout in the morning I usually have a handful of almonds and a banana and that gives me a good boost. Or you could try peanut butter on apples or a piece of toast.
