What do FBI background checks show?

Does anyone know exactly what these Background reports show? Do they have everything, police reports and records? or are do they just show criminal convictions like the DOJ report?

Everything on your police record from all jursidictions in the US. It shows arrests and the disposition of the charges.

they show anytime you were (if you were) arrested, the charge the date the arresting agency if the charge was pleaded down to something else etc.
