definitely in person because even though it is the scariest for a girl or a boy to do, it's the best and most sincere and real method.

However you would ask your girl friend to go out some where like to the mall or the movies.That's the same way you ask a guy out very causally nothing pressed. But remember if you ask you pay unless you say dutch.
