Also, wat if u know that they like u, u like them but they don't know, and they already have a gurlfriend??? (even though they like u, it's a long story.) Any1 know???

7th grade guys are probably just too shy to admit they like you. They don't have much experience with females so they don't know how to act about it.

its becuz were afraid of your reaction. girls love to spread rumors.(although im not saying you are that type) if he does like you and you know it,make a move on him. guys are to bashfull,we prefer the lady to make a move

It's a MANLY thing. Don't bother trying to understand. (They do it so that their friends don't bug them, actually... Besides, they're nervous. Cut them some slack.)

they are afraid that if they show they liked you, you might start to ignore them. so basically they're afraid of hurting your relationship with them, so they avoid the risk and try to hide it.

1) they want to look good around their friends
2)they are afraid to show emotion
3) they dont know how to say what they are thinking

Because they are scared of how you will react, that they will be gossiped about, etc. Basically, if you like him and he likes you, make it known that you like him and he will be more open.

That is, it is showing vulnerability.
