my boyfriend dumped me a week ago and told me that and then I heard a lot of trash coming from him so I think it may just be an excuse

No....hon, when they use the excuse "its getting too serious", it means that you have pushed your boundaries with him. Tried the "I love you" routine on him to make him commit to something that he isn't ready to commit too.
Are you one of those girls that fall in love automatically? I mean, the minute they ask you to be their girlfriend, its a "love thang"?
The trash you've heard coming from his mouth, I know...isn't fun. But its probably coming from the fact that you may have been too pushy in your relationship.

It sounds like he doesn't know what he wants and is no where close ready to even think about working on a relationship. If he was ready or knew how to work on it, he would have discussed this issue with you. Let him go, even though it's hard. Find someone who won't play games with your head and you'll be alot happier.

I don't mean to upset you or anything, but that probably means he's trying to break up with you...he wants to....he's just not sure how to tell you nicely, so he's making up trash. Hope this helps!!!

Move on. It's only been two months. Lifes too short to worry about it. He's immature and not reay for anything. Hope this helps.
