This would definitely depend on the relationship that exist between you and your Mum.

Try and get a copy of Anyone at all by Carole King.

Lovely lyrics that depict how important one is to the other person.

It doesn't really specifically mention a mother - child relationship, but if you love, respect, honour, and give importance to your mum as I do, think of her as you listen to this song, and it's gonna hit you.

The wind beneath my wings is the song I dedicated to my mum at my wedding and she cried her eyes out, in a nice way. The words describe her to a tee.

Sadly my mother passed away when I was only 19. There was a vinyl record that she had bought which I used to play when I was a little boy that always reminds me of her. Its called Mother Of Mine by Neil Reid and the lyrics are partcularly poignant:
Mother of mine you gave to me,
all of my life to do as I please,
I owe everything I have to you,
Mother sweet Mother of mine.

Mother of mine when I was young
you showed me the right way things had to be done,
without your arms where would I be,
Mother sweet Mother of mine.

CHORUS
Mother you gave me happiness,
much more than words can say,
I thank the lord let me breathe with you,
every night and every day.

Mother of mine now I am grown
and I can walk straight all on my own,
I'd like to give you what you gave to me,
Mother sweet Mother of mine.

REPEAT CHORUS

Mother of mine now I am grown
and I can walk straight all on my own,
I'd like to give you what you gave to me,
Mother sweet Mother of mine.
Mother sweet Mother of mine.
