7 years ago, God grabbed hold of me and picked me up out of a Hell hole. I used to be an alcoholic, smoked drugs, slept around, used people, cursed everybody including God, hated myself, hated my daughter(who was a baby at the time) and fought with anyone that got in my way. This was going on since I was a young teenager until my late 20's. But God, kept me from killing myself and others, kept me from diseases, always made sure I had what I needed. And now that I'm saved, I am able to Love and not hate, I don't drink or drug anymore, and Bless the Lord at all times!!!!

I started drinking alcohol when I was a minor. When I reached adulthood, I started working in a Foundry. The belief was the harder I worked, the harder I drank. Needless to say, I developed an alcohol problem. I could go maybe five days without a drink, then when I did go out, I made up for lost time. It wasn't how much time I had to drink, it was how much could I drink in that time! I drank like there was no tomorrow. Then I stayed out of taverns and just drank at home. I could control it that way. Silly me. I was drinking a case of beer a day at home. Then I got involved in a Bible Study, just to see what all of the hoopla was about. I then started going to a Church that God designed. I still drank, even went to church under the influence a couple of times. No one said a word!! Then I got picked up for D.U.I. for the second time. I told the arresting officer that maybe God was telling me to quit drinking. He just said "maybe". Any way, when I got home that night, I threw the rest of my beer in a place that I could never get to it again and went to bed. When I woke up, there was no hang over, I didn't have any withdrawals, the urges are gone, and there isn't any desire to drink. And that was over six years ago. Six + years and not a drop. The other major way He changed my life was to be Born Again, St. John 3:5, I found out that no matter what I did with my life, I still had the sin thing to deal with. The Bible gave me a way out of it Acts 2:38. Now the sin is gone, so is the humility of my past , any shame that I had, any guilt that I had is also gone. Then He gave me the Holy Ghost to overcome any sinful behaviors that will try to getme to sin again. The Holy Ghost will lead me in all truth, dispense His Love and give utterance!! I recommend this experience to everyone. We can't get to heaven without it!!!

I am agnostic. Yet the concept of Jesus has changed my life.

Before, I was a diehard atheist. Yet I was overweight, loud, rude, hyper, stupid, and depressed. Yet I accepted Jesus into my life, lost 60 pounds, controlled myself, got happy, expanded my social intelligence, and made many friends, becoming relatively popular. However, many christian fundies turned me away from christianity, but nevertheless, someone is still watching over me. And the concept Of Jesus saved me. So, I still believe that SOMETHING helped me.

I have a testimony, but it's not about me, it's about my dad. My dad was a major heroin addict in his younger years. Him and all his friends got high all the time. They committed crimes and spent time in jail all for the sake of getting high. He tried all sorts of rehab places to get rid of his addiction as he watched his friends die of overdoses. He hurt his family over and over again. One friend of his heard of a Christian rehab place in Chicago (he was from NY). The guy became saved and got clean and wanted my dad to come. My dad begged his girlfriend to come with, but she thought it would be like all the others so she stayed at home. My dad went to this place and long story short became saved and got off drugs. He told me that if he would forever be an addict, but God kept that temptation at bay. After my dad became saved he starting going to schools and jails to talk about how drugs ruined his life, but God saved his life. He lost a lot of his life to drugs, but God provided him with my mom, a job, a good church, and me. I have two older half sisters whom he didn't have a relationship with until he was clean. He missed out on their childhood, but had a second chance with me. I never ever saw him relapse. He never even drank. He stayed a servant of God until the day he died. My dad's life and his honesty about it helps keep me true to God. I believe if my dad hadn't found God he would have been dead long ago, and I would have never been born.

Every single person in this country has had their life changed by Jesus. If they believe in him or not, if he even existed or not we still have to live amongst many people whose lives have been affected by this figure.

Ya, he's gotten me out of porn. He made me a man. I want to get married now and become a father. He made me spend more time wisely and have a greater love for people.

No, because jesus didn't, won't and hasn't done anything to change anyones lives. If he even existed, he's long dead and would be ashamed of most current Christians behavior. Only YOU can change your life.
