So this guy gave my cousin a side hug where he holds over the shoulder and he came up and gave me a big bear hug! Do you think that might be a "I am attracted to you hug"!

I am not a guy... but I would say a side hug is a courtesy and a bear hug is more affectionate. I think it depends on the guy if he likes to hug or not.

i agree with the last person....cuz i have many many friends who are girls...and i hug some short on the side...and i hug some bear hug style for like 10 seconds while swaying back and forth...and im not goin out with any of them...probably depends on the guy

It could be, but don't be surprised if it's a "I want to hug you differently" hug. An "I am attracted to you" hug usually lasts for a few minutes, I think...
