i want to import songs from imesh to itunes for some songs it says ---- song is in WMA format itunes will automaticaly it into AAC so they can be added into itunes library " when i click convert it says " one or more songs being added in are in the protected WMA format , itunes could not convert the following song

how can get these songs in itunes ?

I had that problem too. Some songs are protected with means they will only play in which they are meant to be play in, for that example is Windows Media Player, I know...It sucks. But, thats how it is. Try buying the CD or Limewire. They are great! (And legal)

In response to Mike, LimeWire itself may be legal, downloading music from it most certainly IS NOT legal.

What this means is that you have downloaded tracks with DRM (Digital Rights Management), designed to keep people from sharing music, but in the end just ends up being a hassle for paying customers.

There is a free website called BoncEnc that can help you convert file formats. I got tired of burning CD's and then loading them into the other format.
