For a mixed breed female dog. Don't tell me to look at her personality please. She's cute and playful. Please just leave names but NO websites!! I don't like names like Princess, Queenie, Cutie, Lily, Lola, Bella, Chloe, etc.

Well, I like historical names for dogs...
Cleopatra or Cleo for short
Bronte after Emily Bronte
Edith after edith piaf.....or Eddie after Eddie Brickell
La Boheme but as one word Laboheme

Or there are cool names
Vixen
Siouxsie
Betty
Jitka (Pronounced Yitka)
Payton
Venus
Buffy (if ya like the show)
Lucy
Roxanne or Roxy or just Roxx

My favs would be Vixen, Roxx or Cleopatra. But, no matter which way ya go, best of luck in raising your new family member =)

Actually, my yahoo addy is after my dogs name. She is a white Maltese and when I brought her home, she was glowing in the moonlight just like my white roses so her name is Temple's Moonlight on Roses. That's her registered name but I call her Rosie and that's worked well for us for 14 years now. I also have a red and white Japanese Chin who was born in September. His name is Temple's September Sunshine and we call him Sunny or Mr. Sun. He comes to both of them. Our last name is Temple so that's why they all start with that. A lot of names get kicked back to you when you register your dog because another dog has it unless you put in your own name. I don't wait for their personality to emerge because they should already know their own names by then. I think dogs should have good names because you treat them better if they do. How could someone named Moonlight on Roses be treated like anything but a princess? LOLOLOL I like royal names like The Queen of Sheba and call her Sheba. Or old goddess names like Athena. She would have to be a good dog to live up to a name like that. I once named a dog Gypsy and she turned out to be totally nuts. I should have rethought that name. I had another dog named Appalonia who was a queen. We called her Loni but she really had the bearing of a queen. Just be sure you pick a really good one and you'll have a good dog. Luck to you and the puppy
