I never heard of JP Channet....but Black Tower...I'm not impressed.
You want a GOOD German wine? Get a Peisporter Trepphen. You'll never drink BT again
Other than that....I go for Stag's Leap Cabernet...awesome bottle
I usually have on hand:
Beringer Chenin Blanc
Any Vintage Chianti
Australian Tawny Port
Bin 555 Shiraz
Peisporter Trepphen
Vintage California Cabernet

hello , had JP Chenet ?? a white one ?? a Chardonnay or a moelneux ?
I tried JP Chenet wine for a while, did find much better wine for a little more
But, what and for how much you are able to purchase wine depends on which country you live.

My favourite white wine is Pinot Grigio. It can be bought nearly anywhere and costs around a fiver a bottle.

I s'pose we've all got to start somewhere.
Try this once.
Buy a decent New Nealand Sauvignon blanc: Try Oyster Bay, Montana or even the supermarket own brand.
It will cost a bit £6 a bottle maybe but then you can compare what you drink to this.
It will open your eyes, I promise...

Jacobs Creek chardonnay is my fave, swiftly followed by an Italian pinot gregio, then Soave.
