True love is everlasting, like a tree which never shed its leaves in winter. Like that song by Barbra Streisand "Evergreen":

"Like a rose under the April snow
I was always certain love would grow.
Love, ageless and evergreen
seldom seen by two."

Lust and puppy love, like most relationships I'd say, can be influenced by the seasons, if that's what you mean by seasonal. I think we tend to fall in love and feel 'love' easier and stronger during spring when everything is sweet and promising. There is just something in the air. Summer can be carefree and sweet, walking on the beach, lying on the grass and making shapes out of the clouds, picnics...so romantic. But when the winter is cold and gray things can dampen a bit too! Not always, though. But it really is as if all the fun is gone. Like when you have had a wonderful holiday and now you have to go back to school/work. You know it's true love when it has withstood the test of time, like a tree has withstood cold winters and harsh summers.

Real love isn't, but I think there are times when maybe you are more open to finding it. I think those times vary from person to person, for example with my previous relationships and with my current boyfriend, the relationships have started around Christmas, so maybe that is the time when I am able to accept the feelings. Hope that helps.

Well, I've been starting to gather moss, twigs and feathers to build my Love Nest 2007, so yes, I reckon love is a seasonal emotion.

I think Spring brings more love emotions then most seasons.

Come on now "Fool for Love" NO its not, maybe seasonal in the sense as to when in your life you have time for it, or are emotionally capable of enduring it but not literally the season of the year. good luck KIm

It certainly isn't seasonal. It evolves into some thing deeper over time. If you truly love somebody you will never forget them.

love is something that only occurs once on your lifetime. the feeling of love is an overwhelming sensation... so i do not think it is a seasonal emotion.
