Recreations include drinking malt liquor in lawn chairs under tattered R.V. awning and teenage pregnancy. Close synonymn for poor white trash. Can also be used as literal term for personal effects strewn by tornado when ripping though mobile home park.

This is so funny... After Hurricane Charley we were living in a trailer and so had a trailer trash party. We all sat outside on lawn chairs, drank beer, flicked ash on the grass, and cooked on the bbq grill. We used paper plates, plastic cups and disposable napkins. And the funniest thing of all was that the trailer cost as much as our house had done when it was built! No darlink. Trailer trash are an extinct people who wintered in Florida (and then eventually got tired of the snow and ice migration and decided to stay all year) They bought a trailer in a mobile home park, played shuffle board and pinochle, did macrame, drank a lot and complained constantly that things were done a lot better where they had come from!

No it doesn't have anything to do with recycling. It's an american slang. It's a not nice term refering to low-class white people living in trailer parks. Terms like "trailer park trash" or "white trash" mean the same thing as "trailer trash". BUT the term also can be applied to low-class white people no matter where they live.

if you watch my name is earl ,his ex wife lives in a trailer park and other in usa do ,unfortunatly they get this title as they are in lowest housing in the housing ladder and although not all are bad some are classed as idiots and get the name trailer trash ,but its not just for where they live it can be given to anyone who is abit ignorant ,like most of /jerry Springers guests
