I was lying down, fell asleep, and had a dream. In the dream, I knew I was sleeping, so I told myself to wake up. It was like I was half-sleeping, half-awake cause I can see what is around me, hear stuffs not loudly, but like mumbles. I tried to move my arm, but it didn't. I focused all my energy on it, but it didn't move. I kept trying to move my body, and suddenly I was fully awake and able to move. I can remember the exact feeling of how it was like. I experimentes a few times, like I fell asleep on purpose, told myself to wake up, and go through the same process again. It's weird. Can someone tell me what it is?

Well, Bruno, I went to Wikipedia, and you are right about the fact that I knew I was dreaming and had out-of body experience.
Also, when I was half- asleep, half- awake, all my senses(hearing, sight , smell, touch, and taste) were hazy. I didn't smell, ffeel, and taste anything, obvoiusly, but my hearing and sight seemed to be functioning 50%.

Also, when I saw scary movies at night when I was a child, I usually had scary nightmares after. In the nightmare, I would see frightening gory images, and in the dream, I would close my eyes, but it was like I never closed it. I would turn away, cover my eyes, but I would still see. That is when I realized this was a nightmare, and told myself to wake. I didn't wake up, and I still tried to close my eyes in the nightmare, but it didn't. I was terribly scared for a brief moment when I woke up finally.
