I have burned the same downloaded movie with the above. One on CD the other on DVD,both play perfectly on my Comp. but neither will play in my DVD player. I keep getting the msg. NO DISC.Somebody please tell me what Im doing wrong before I kick the cat . P.S. I have quite an old player. Could this be the problem

im not an expert but maybe the type of disc your using to burn , isn't compatible with your dvd player, for example your using dvd-r discs and your player will only accept originals as in dvd and cd only.

you can pick up really cheap dvd players now,ALBA tend to do players that accept cd-r and dvd-r discs. for under £20.00. their are also players out their that accept dvd+r. dvdrw. cd-r, mp3, mp4, etc etc.that are quite affordable.

just make sure when your buying your next one , you buy one thats compatible with the disc's you use to burn.

Make sure you select the right format before you burn to disc, you'll need to burn to cd or dvd not to pc.
