Don't feed it to your baby.
DON'T

Give him something else. you shouldn't have to ask this sort of question.

It is perfectly safe to feed this to your baby. Alcohol burns off with heat, and especially with a long cooking dish such as a stew, all the alcohol with cook out. Just be careful that the stew isn't too spicy or rich, as it might give him gas.

Well I wouldn't be giving jello shooters or Vodka watermelon but some beer marinated steak or wined stew will be fine. Usually high temperatures takes most of the alcohol out leaving only the flavor. Too bad you can't get drunk from stew.. We'd all be coming to your place =)

Your baby will be fine to eat your delicious stew! The alcohol evaporates from the pot while cooking and all that is left is the flavor. We have had so many chili cook offs with many people using beer in their chili. These same people have kids of their own and not one child has ever been harmed eating their chili. On occasion, I use red wine for my gravies and I have 4 kids. They are fine and were never drunk or harmed. All the alcohol evaporates.
Enjoy your stew!!

as far as alcohol content once it's brought to the boil the alcohol burns away, but i'm not sure if other ingredients in say guiness may harm but at 12 mnths they're pretty right as far as that is concerned, just don't give too much as it could be a little rich for tummy an may get the runs or belly ache

The alcohol will evaporate providing that the stew is simmered for a minimum of 20 minutes, so it will NOT be harmful to your child, hope he enjoys it.

Too much alcohol. You would have to cook it for a very long time to get enough of the alcohol out for it to be even close to safe for your baby. Even after 3 hours, there will be alcohol in the stew.

Please feed your baby something else.

There will be no residual alcohol left in the casserole/stew, so do not worry.

Alcohol evaporates at 172°F (78°C), so any sauce or stew that is simmering or boiling is certainly hot enough to evaporate the alcohol.

Yum. Doesn't most of the alcohol evaporate? Should in theory be okay, as long as he likes the taste, it's quite strong.... certainoy not every 12 m old's cup of tea (or should I say bottle of beer!)

I'm not to sure but I think the alcohol burns when cooking, don't take my word for it but that's what I know.
