Side bangs with my hair???

Question

I have very thick, curly, and poofy hair that is about an inch and a half below my shoulders. I really want sidebangs but I am not sure if they would look right on me. I would straighten them everyday but would they look right on my type of hair? Also my dominant side is right but should I get right or left side bangs? How long and can you send me pics of what it would look like?

Also do I only cut the bangs on one side or my whole forehead? Do I cut them in a certain angle?

Do I have to straightne my whole head or can I just straighten the bangs?

I think that it would look nice and even if it doesnt (which I doubt because sidebangs usually suit most hair types) you can grow your hair back again, its better to know what it looks like than trying to guess, maybe you could get a rough idea of what it might look like by clipping up your hair and putting some across your face to make it look like a side bang, if you get me well if you do give it a go! if you have your hair cut im sure it will look lovely!

the side of ur hair all depends on your head shape ... and if u have curly hair u gotta straighten all ur hair with a good hair straightner dont let the back poofy and the front straight that will look odd.... and if u dont like it it will grow out ... or u can have the side bang even with the curly hair... but u have to have the right products to put in ur hair so it will look nice

alright first of all u would not look like an emu! that persons obviously a retard! haha no jk! anyways it would look fine ...i have the same kind of hair and i straighten my bangs every day...so u would want them about like 4-5 inches long....just to start out to see if u like them and then if u want u can get them a lil bit shorter but not much! and it doesnt matter which side u put ur bangs on my dominant side is left but i straighten my bangs to go either way....it doesnt matter either way!

I say go for it!
I have fairly curly hair but not as curly as you describe.
I got side bangs done and I really like them. I dont think it would look bad because a combo of straight bangs and curly hair is cute. Plus if you dont like them then you can easily clip them up. I would get them longer just in case you dont like them...then it wolt take as long to grow out.
I couldnt find any pictures but i would go with left side. That is at least what I like.

i dont mean to be rude but i dont think that it would look all that great. if u were to go ahead and get bangs i would get fairly long ones-about 9-10 inches- and i would part ur hair on the right side about 3/4 of the way through ur eyebrow from ur ear.

You could just ask a hair cutter what your hair would look like if you got side bangs and ask her if it will look right it probably will. Also if you straighten your hair every day then that will help as well. My suggestion is just get your hair straightened like a perm and then get side bangs. That's wat I did. Also most grls get their side bangs on their right side.

i would get you hair cut just above the shoulder and then get the bangs. make them about face length and straighten them, and keep the rest of your hair curly.

i do not have any pictures, but I have many friends with curly hair that have side bangs, they look good,I would also advise you to get them on the right.

but I don't think it will look right i am not sure what side to get them on

YES!! One of my friends has hair like yours. She has left sidebangs. I think it'd look good.
