Me and my ex had a mutual break up about a month and a half ago. He told me half of him still loved me but half of him just wanted to be friends so I told him we should break up. (I didn't think it was right to be in a relationship where I wasn't wanted.) He said we would still be friends. Since then he has told me in various e-mails that he dosn't love me, we arn't meant to be together, we don't mesh well, and we will never get back together. He has also told me he felt like he couldn't do anything right for me and that he didn't like how I talked about the future. (He talked about it too though.) Since then we have stoped talking. I still see him because we have mutual friends. I have been trying to be friendly towords him, just so things won't be so awkward. I know I shouldn't want him anymore and I should move on, he obviously dosn't care about me, but I can't. I still have a feeling things could magicaly all work out. How can I get over this?

Try to stay cool as you can when your around him. Don't push him away by talking about the two of you or how you still feel about him. Just try to stay friends as long as you can, and maybe it will work out you know you have to be friends before lovers. Good Luck!

It always seems so hard at first. I was in this same situation until I met someone else, we started talking, and he took my mind off of my ex. And we're still together after 7 months!!
Doors open and they close. Be patient and something better will come soon. Shut out the past, and enjoy all the opportunites that are yet to come! And better yet, if someone did ask you out, you're free, so enjoy it!! Trust me, the world may seemed to of come to an end, but once you open your eyes you'll relizes there are much better guys. Look straight.

I also keep going back to my ex into the same situation its a comfort zone in a way, we don"t want to take the effort to start over, to go back will always hurt, for if we could go back in time we"d change so much, but we can"t so we must move forward always forward as time also goes, open the door to a new path.

Move on. Why would you want to be with someone that has told you he doesn't want you? That's just asking to be hurt.
Many other fish in the sea. Go and find one.

Time heals all things. Just move on for now and if you were meant to be with him then you will be.
