mayo tastes great, Miracle Whip tastes like $*!& LOL!
Actually, mayo is product based on egg whites and oil. It really has very little taste, except what you add to it. Some processors add other flavors, such as lemon, to increase the flavor. Miracle Whip is a salad dressing, and has lots of other flavors added.
I use both in items such as devilled eggs and potato salad, but I use a higher ratio of mayo to Miracle Whip, as the MW can overpower too much. Depends on your taste, but try a 2/3s mayo to 1/3 MW or 3/4s mayo to 1/4 MW

Miracle whip is sweeter... It is not technically a mayo either... it is actually called a dressing or a sandwich spread.

okay well it is hard to belive that you dont know this but i am pretty sure that miracle whip is sweeter that mayo but really unless you know it I cant taste a difference

there's a distinction. Mayo is made out of oil, egg yolk, lemon and somewhat salt. Miracle Whip is sweeter and it IS made basically the same way mayonnaise is and it is no healthier for you, so the above is wrong. However is sure is good on a sandwich!

miracle whip taste more like processed than homemade mayo. thats because it is processed. but regular mayo has more of a homemade taste. i make it all the time
