I will try to answer you, If your family member was dying at home, & an ambulance is running late, will you put them in a car & speed to the hospital, Think about it, We are to obey the laws of the land, But we also have to know when to draw a line, & that is where too many people & Some Christians don't understand, Here in Indiana, our speed limit is 70 MPH, I have driven 75 before & drove right pass a Policeman, He never did stop me, So you have to know how to Judge scriptures in the light of the truth. I am going to tell you a true story on this very question you asked, When I first got saved in 1970, I was in a church that try their best to say anyone that went 1 mile over the speed limit was headed for hell, Now listern very closely, This Sunday school teacher that try to ram that teaching down my throat did not realize that he was getting ready to be caught himself. He happen to live on the same road I did, & one morning I follow him out to the main highway going to work, He never knew I was behind him, When he came to a stop sign, Guess what happen, He only slowed down & then went on, So Guess what again, the next service he was confronted, & I told him I was behind him, & the sign said STOP, & not slow down & proceed. He was so embarrass, he did not know what to say. So my point is this, Yes, Obey the law of the land, but yet we have to know where to draw a line, Why didn't that Policeman stop me for going 5 Mph over the limit, Because they allow us 5 mph over the limit, Would I go 90 MPH pass him, NO, Another example, If you are at a grocery store & allow 30 mintues parking, do you leave all your groceries in the cart at minute 29 to go & move your car, NO you don't, That is why I said we have to know what those scriptures is speaking of within reason.

I try my best to obey the law of the land, but if speeding means going 65 - 70 on a 55 mph highway then I am guilty.

Obeying the law is scriptural. (1 Peter 2:13-16)

I do not speed for that reason. The ONLY exception is in some areas in Phoenix where the speed limit on the freeway is 55. There I speed to 60 because, if I don't, I actually run the risk of getting run off the road.

If you are an atheist and do not believe in any great Judge or LAw GIver, would you kill the cop who pulled you over if you could 100% get away with it. Why? Right and wrong are myths.

BTW, is this your poor college education arrogantly fueling you to attempt Dialogus. The guy who invented it was killed because he grew too annoying.

Not often. I usually give myself enough time to get where I'm going on time.

I have, once in a great while, but only if I'm late for an important appointment, and only if the road is clear and dry, no one else is on it.

it would be interesting to meet people who do believe this way,as to speeding, and anything else.(i will say, it took me awhile to see the reason for not running stop signs and lights, when no one is there, and speeding too.) but i do think these laws are based on fact and for people's safety.

Speed, like in driving too fast? If it is not allowed in your country you won't obey scripture by speeding.

I try not to, but am easily distracted. There are these people that go around in cars with flashing lights that help remind us though.
