I am in highschool my boyfriend isnt. A boy i "talk" to asked me to the prom. i want to go with my boyfriend but i know my mom wouldnt let me because he is 20 and she dosent like him. It is perfectly legal though and we arent even having sex.
anyway, the boy asked me but i told him i didnt plan going, but i would let him know. now i want to go.
should i tell my boyfriend
and its ironic that the boy that boy that asked me is also 20 but my mom dosent know that because he is still in highschool.
he dropped out a long time ago to take care of his son, now he came back but my mom thinks he is my age and wants me to go to the prom.
should i tell my boyfriend or ask him.

Are you crazy? Going to the prom with someone that is not your boyfriend is a NO NO.
Your boyfried will never forgive you, that you trade him for a 20 year old dropout loser with a son. Besides that loser is obliously interested in making you the mother of his next child; Wake up girl!
And dont try to play smart by not tellig your boyfriend because he will found out sooner or later, and he wont belive that you are not cheating on him with the "dropout loser".
That's a very important moment and you should be with the guy you love, not with some dropout loser.
Just take your boyfriend to the prom and don't tell your mom.

So you're thinking of asking the guy that is 20 years old and still in high school, PLUS he has a kid?! Why would you want to get tangled up with someone like that? Not saying he's a bad person, but boy, the drama........

i think you should tell your boyfriend that you got asked out by someone else and you should tell him you want to go with the guy that asked you out. tell him its only one night and you just want to have some fun but your not going to act like he is your boyfriend or anything.

if a guy's twenty and still in high school, he's probably special and you don't want to go anywhere with him. you could go with him as a friend if your boyfriend knows. i think you should still go to prom, it's important.
