if so why has the UK got a Nuclear detterent? Why do polititions have armed bodyguards and why does the Queen have armed protection?
Is it right for one and not another, or are some people seeking an advantage?

It's just a matter of who has `control, who makes the law & who has permission.

No, it's not wrong to carry a gun, it's just illegal, by the law standards of our time. The UK, is behind the times.

In the USA, I can carry a gun most anywhere, but I do have a permit to carry a firearm.

You should consider moving to the USA, we have more rights, the right to bear arms.

yes it is wrong as its against the law. look up how many people are killed with a gun in the UK when compaired to the USA.

The bodyguards are not there to commit a crime, they are there to protect them from as many things as possiable. To exclude armed assailants is stupid.
