Let me tell you I'm 5'3'' and I weigh 243lbs. Tommrow I start a serious regimen with a friend of mine that is in the millitary. At one point in my life I used to weigh 147lbs. Truthfully motivation comes from within however, I do have one suggestion. This is how I will be motivating myself...every day I will stand in front of a full length mirror with only my underware on and just look at myself and say, "Tricia, you have some work to do but you look great today, so keep it up!" I already started doing this tommrow I will just add the exercise regiemen to it.

How does one get motivated to do anything difficult in life? Deep breathing/meditation works for me, but everyone is different. Look in your soul and figure out what has motivated you in the past to accomplish anything that you set out to do? Best of Luck!!

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!

Get started today!

Some people need fear (it works) others just need a partner i.e. someone with a similar problem to help them get going. You can motivate each other, it's more fun that way.

You get motivated by desiring to change and look different with a great feeling about yourself.

Thinking of all the fat that is clogging up your body and weighing you down ... imagining the skeletal system supporting your massive weight. Thinking of how nice it would be to go up a flight of stairs without being out of breath.

First of all, you need a positive attitude. That alone will help get you geared into the state of mind that you will need to proceed with your diet and exercise. Good luck
