I just adopted a 1 year old black and white female pit bull. My boyfriend and I are having a hard time coming up with a name. I don't like names that are too girly like cookie, candy, princess... But I also don't want to name her a really boyish name like Buster. She is very playful, but also VERY sweet. Do you have any suggestions?

Look through a baby names book or website. You could get an idea from there. Also think about things you like in your life: TV show people, music terms, etc. And think about the personality of your dog. When I got my dog there were 6 of us living in the apartment... we went to the grocery, got a pint of ice cream and sat around watching him play while we ate and came up with names.

i would give suggestions but i have 2 boy dogs you could name your dogs any thing you want but I think you should follow your heart and think of your own names

P.S. If you have one of those baby book of names, maybe you could find some good non-girly names, lol. I know it sounds cheesy but it works!
