dude, there cannot be a specific answer for your question but learning by living is more permanent, when you are a kid, your father used to tell u not to play with fire and u hear and read this warning every single day of ur childhood but when did u stop playing with fire? the answer is simple, when u hurt urself or when u burn ur finger etc.learning by reading only makes u realize sth but learning by living makes u absorb the data, u never forget nor question the datas having been learned by this way.
in short, buy a GMC and drive till Nevada, take a bath in a river and stay in a tent, after all these u will be a guru for sure...

On-the-road wordly knowledge is great but it won't open doors for you when applying for a good job. Years ago it was no big deal but nowadays, you have to have a degree to even think about applying for a good job
